The price will include VAT at the then-current rate. If the rate of VAT changes, we will be obliged to charge the new rate on any sums which you have not paid before the change comes into effect.
The time when payment must be made depends on the room rate plan you have selected. This will be set out in the booking information you are provided with at the time before you book.

7. Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation by giving you written notice (including by email):
- if you fail to make payment when required by these Terms to do so; or
- if you break the contract between us in any way.
We may also cancel your reservation if an event outside our control (such as fire, flood, utility failure or emergency evacuation) means that we are unable to make your room available for you. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund in full all sums you have paid to us. Refunds will be made to the same card as was used for payment. However, except for any statutory rights which we are unable to exclude or restrict, we will have no further liability to you in these circumstances.
